    OPEN CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

The third edition of the Students’ Biennale invites project proposals from young artists and collectives currently pursuing their BFA (third/fourth/final year) or MFA (first/second year) in any Indian college by 15 August, 2018. Selected projects will receive support in the form of a production grant and an opportunity to travel to Kochi for the 2018 editions of the Kochi-Muziris Biennale and the Students’ Biennale.

Applicants are encouraged to respond to the ideas of how a studio can be situated in the framework of the institution, and how the notion of making can become a process of responding to your context and reflecting beyond.

To apply, submit a completed application form with your details, a recent portfolio (10 MB), project proposal (500 words) and a visual plan for your project (optional). Project proposals may include, but not be limited to, a brief note on your area of interest or concern, details about medium and material, and/or plan of execution.
