National Travel Grant Recipients for India Art Fair, New Delhi 2022

To generate an understanding of contemporary art practice among students, Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi has provided travel grant to students of Visual Art and Visual Art History who are currently enrolled in BFA/MFA/BA with Fine arts, MA with Fine Arts, and MPhil in Fine Arts in any college, art institution and university of Punjab, and those with Punjab domicile studying in any of the above disciplines in any college, art institution and university in Chandigarh to travel and witness the creatively charged environment and ambiance of mega art events organised in various parts of the country such as India Art Fair, New Delhi being held from 28th April to 1st May 2022.
The students will attend art talks, performances, and discussions apart from the main art fair where the most prestigious art galleries of the country are showcasing the artworks of significant and upcoming artists. The students will also prepare a synopsis along with photographic documentation to give an audiovisual presentation about their experiences after returning back from the art Fair.
