Punjab Lalit Kala Akademi has started giving Scholarships and Fellowships to deserving artists from 2017. Sohan Qadri Foundation has sponsored Sohan Qadri Fellowship which is being given to an artist between 30 and 50 years of age. Some of the scholarships are being sponsored by some friends and some are being given by the Akademi from it’s own resources. The scholarships are being given to artists between 20 and 30 years of age.
